The Office of Sustainability and the Office of Community Engagement at Ajman University participated in the second day of the 12th cycle of the Arabia CSR & Sustainability Forum 2024, held under the patronage of the UAE Ministry of Economy. The forum, themed "Sustainable Prosperity: Reorienting for a Balanced Future," aimed to bring together experts and thought leaders from the Arab region and beyond to discuss pressing regional and global issues, proposing effective solutions through discussions, panel sessions, and interactive Q&A.
In line with Ajman University’s commitment to developing inclusive education and enhancing community engagement, a group of university students were supported to attend the forum, offering them the opportunity to engage in valuable discussions that took place during the event. Additionally, this support extended to students from the National Charity School, providing them the chance to interact with experts and leaders participating in the forum, which contributed to expanding their knowledge horizons and increasing their awareness of global and regional issues.
The forum addressed key topics such as economy, innovation, investment, artificial intelligence, entrepreneurship, environmental sustainability, and social and behavioral aspects.
The efforts of the Office of Sustainability and the Office of Community Engagement at Ajman University reflect the University’s commitment to promoting community awareness and active participation in critical issues that shape the future.
