The Office of Student life at Ajman University (AU) and the Saudi Cultural Club came together to celebrate the 92nd Saudi National Day at Ajman University campus on September 22. Saudi National Day is observed to commemorate the establishment of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by King Abdulaziz and is a symbol of the unity, glory, and dignity of the kingdom.
The vibrant event featured a plethora of cultural activities, including performances involving the Saudi national music. Chocolates and flags were also distributed among the participants at the event. The venue entrance was decorated with Saudi flags and green balloons as part of the celebration. Students representing the club were dressed in a range of traditional Saudi Arabian attire representing different areas of Saudi Arabia.
Non-Saudi students had the chance to learn more about the history of Saudi Arabia through documentary videos that were played at the event in both Arabic and English. They also learnt about the development of the country through its history, its traditions, costumes and food in different regions of Saudi Arabia.
