The Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services hosted a workshop entitled 'Positive Education and Its Importance for Children with Disabilities,' presented by Professor Dr. Marwa Ahmed, Professor in the Department of Psychology at the College of Humanities and Sciences, Ajman University, and a member of the extended board of directors of the International Positive Psychology Association. The workshop was attended by a number of teachers and officials from the city. The 90-minute workshop aimed to raise awareness of the importance of positive education in promoting the growth of children with disabilities. The workshop discussed fundamental concepts such as positive psychology and positive education, and provided training on skills and positive problem-solving techniques. Participants were also equipped with the necessary knowledge about positive education and its impact on children's lives, enabling them to apply these principles in their educational and pedagogical environments.
