On Tuesday, May 14, 2024, the College of Humanities and Sciences at Ajman University organized the "Graduation Projects Presentations and Discussions" event for the Sociology Department students. The event was held from 11:00 AM to 01:30 PM in rooms B108 and B109 in Building J2. During the event, students presented their graduation projects, which covered various social topics such as the social impacts of online education, the effects of smartphone use, and the psychological and social impacts of digital addiction. The event was attended by the Dean of the College of Humanities and Sciences, Dr. Mohammed Al-Taher, the Head of the Sociology Department, Dr. Soumaya Abdellatif, along with the heads and members of the discussion committees, faculty members, and the students' parents.
The event was organized and supervised by Professor Saeed Nasif and Professor Alaa Al-Rawashdeh, with participation from 28 students who had completed their graduation projects for the Spring semester of the 2023-2024 academic year. The event aimed to evaluate the educational process, demonstrate students' understanding of the subjects, theories, and concepts they studied, enhance their critical thinking and effective communication skills, and recognize their achievements. Notably, some of these projects participated in international conferences and won scientific awards, reflecting the high level of excellence achieved by the students
