Seminar on “Psychology and Education” by an International Expert

A research project on the applications of psychology in the field of education, based on both review and longitudinal studies, was presented at the "Psychology and Education" seminar, which was organized by the Department of Psychology at the College of Humanities and Sciences at Ajman University. The seminar featured the presence of Professor Dr. Charles Martin-Krumm, an international expert.
Dr. Rasha Abdul Rahman, the head of the Psychology Department, gave a welcome speech and Dr. Mohammed Al-Majzoub Al-Taher, the College's Dean, introduced the seminar. It was held online on Friday, October 27, from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM, with faculty and students from the college in attendance. Prof. Marai Ahmed, a professor in the Department of Psychology and a member of the International Positive Psychology Association's Advisory Committee, moderated the session.
The seminar aimed to give attendees an understanding of the less obvious aspects of the registration system for warned students. Practical activities encouraged the enhancement of the learning experience, preparing advisors to handle the academic challenges faced by students in the Psychology Department. The activity included the presentation of a multi-study research project that included both review studies and longitudinal research on the application of psychological variables in predicting academic performance. Advanced statistical analyses were incorporated into the research. The presentation stood out for its excellence, and there was active engagement from the participants.
