Learning Difficulties Symposium Between Concept and Practice

The Department of Psychology organized a joint symposium with the Faculty of Special Education, Misr University for Science, under the title: "Learning Difficulties between Concept and Practice" via the Zoom platform, on March 9, 2023. The participants presented important research papers. They raised a number of hot topics, discussing the most prominent causes and challenges, and the latest findings of recent studies in this field.

Dr. Rasha began the symposium by welcoming the session director, speakers, guests and attendees. The Dean of the College of Humanities, Prof. Dr. Shaher Al-Momani, delivered a welcoming speech to the Dean of the College of Special Education and all the participants, and expressed his interest in the topic of the symposium that is directly related to the educational process in its various stages. Participants included: Dr. Rasha Abdel-Rahman, Head of the Department, Dr. Ahmed Al-Zoubi and Dr. Abdel-Rahim Bin Lahsan, from the Faculty of Special Education at Misr University for Science, Dr. Nermin Mahmoud, Dr. Safaa Al-Behairy and Dr. Sahar Selim. The symposium a large number of students and professors from the two universities attended the symposium, as well as guests from the local community who asked a number of questions at the end of the symposium. The attending students also expressed their admiration for the topics raised, and suggested further meetings in detail for some of the symposium topics.
