Discussion of Sociology and Social Work Graduation Projects
On the 27th of April, 2023, graduating students from the Program of Sociology and Social Work presented their graduation projects to their Instructor, Dr. Asmaa Alarab, in the presence of all faculty of Sociology as well as the Dean of the College of Humanities and Sciences, Dr. Shahed Momani. Some of the students’ parents attended the discussions.
Students have put a lot of effort in preparing their graduation projects in different fields. One example of the graduation projects that were discussed include a graduation project about the university students’ awareness of the Sustainability Development Dimensions coinciding with the Year of Sustainability in the United Arab Emirates. Another example of topics that students discussed is the project that discusses the involvement of employed women in the UAE in volunteer work from the perspective of AU female students who believe in the importance of community development.
