The discussion of a Master's Dissertation in the Department of Arabic Language and Islamic Studies
The Department of Arabic Language and Islamic Studies at the College of Human Sciences at Ajman University held a meeting discussing the first Master’s Dissertation in The Arabic Language and Literature/ language and grammar major which is a requirement for graduation with a Master’s degree in the Arabic Language program. The meeting was held at 11.00 AM on Thursday morning, April 1st, 2021 and continued until 1.00PM in the afternoon.
The Dissertation was written and constructed by Mr. Wesam Al-Fakeeh on “The Consistency and Harmony in Surat Sad”. The dissertation was examined and discussed by a committee that consisted of:
- Professor Fayez Althunibat, Head of The Department of Arabic Language and Islamic Studies/ Supervisor
- Professor Omar Abu Nawas, Professor of Language and Grammar at Al-Qasimia University / External examiner.
- Mazen Jaradat, the coordinator of the Master's program in the department /Internal examiner
After deliberation, the committee decided to approve the dissertation after making the required amendments, and to grant it a grade of "excellence".
Attendees of the dissertation discussion included the students’ Academic Advisor of the Master's program and a number of the program's students.
