For the first time since Master’s program of Arabic language and literature was launched at the College of Humanities and Sciences, the student Mahmood Kamal presented his masters’ thesis plan and discussed it with the Graduate Studies Committee of the department.
The thesis entitled “Acoustic phenomena in the Quranic comma” was discussed with the Graduate Studies Committee of the department, composed of Dr. Mazen Jaradat, Dr. Omar Ekich, Dr. Omar Jemni, Dr. Fayiz Althunibat and Dr. Abdelghani Bara. They provided the student with their feedback, guidance, and suggestions to adjust his thesis plan.
