Nida H. Mohammad is a Lecturer in the Department of Foreign Languages at Ajman University. With an MA in Applied Linguistics from the UK and a CELTA certification from Cambridge University, she has extensive experience teaching English Language courses across various universities in the Arab world. Promoted to Assistant Professor at the University of Mosul in 2002, she has contributed to revising textbooks and placement tests and published several research papers in Applied Linguistics, some of which were presented at international conferences. In addition to her teaching roles, Nida has designed and compiled academic courses, including Technical Writing for Interior Design for the Faculty of Engineering, Developing Competence in English for the College of Law, and various booklets and handouts for TEFL and Study Skills courses. She has also delivered presentations on learning and critical thinking, earning letters of appreciation for her contributions. In 2021, she offered an English course for the Umalmoumineen Association in Ajman, further enhancing the university's community ties.
