Nida H. Mohammad , a lecturer ,Department of Foreign Languages .In 2002, I promoted to Assistant Prof. Rank at the University of Mosul, Iraq. I hold an MA degree in “Applied Linguistics” from UK. In 2010, I was awarded the CELTA “Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults” by Cambridge University. I taught many English Language courses at different universities in the Arab World. I participated in revising ,updating &evaluating textbooks & versions of placement tests. At the level of Academic research, I published so many research papers in the area of Applied Linguistics . Some of these research papers have been submitted to International conferences. A part of professional development activities, I delivered many presentations on the field of learning & Critical Thinking. I have been offered so many letters of appreciation for my significant contribution in different mileu. Besides teaching, I compiled & designed a couple of academic courses: - " Technical Writing for Interior Design" for the Faculty of Engineering - Developing Competence in English, A Training Program for College of Law Instructors. - Designing a booklet for TEFL Course, Faculty of Education, named: “Methodology”, Faculty of Humanities & Sciences 2020 2 ) - Compiling material in a form of handout so as to cover all the items cited in the Course Description of the course “ Study Skills” / College of Mass Communication (2020 2 ) - Designing a booklet for TEFL Course, Faculty of Education, named: Pedagogical Grammar, Faculty of Humanities & Sciences (2020 1) Contributions to AU visibility : To enhance the university ties with the community: Offering an English Course for Umalmoumineen Association/ Ajman. 2021 1
