Dr. Nagwa Babiker Abdalla Yousif completed her PhD in 2009 and then resumed her duties as an assistant professor at Ahfad University, teaching subjects related to her interests in sociology and social work disciplines. In 2016, she joined Ajman University (AU) to take on the same job title, responsibilities, and duties, continuing to teach subjects in sociology, social work, and other related disciplines. Her research interests include multidisciplinary research and assessments of social work and community development programs and projects, gender issues and women’s empowerment, social institutions policies, youth, elderly welfare, special needs welfare, and family and children’s welfare. Since joining the AU faculty, she has embraced a team-oriented approach, collaborating with academic colleagues to enrich teaching, research, and community service, all in alignment with the college's and AU’s goals.
