Elmuez Dawi is an associate professor of physics specializing in nanomaterials and nanotechnology. His graduate degrees include a Master's degree in Materials Physics and Nanotechnology from the Linkoping Institute of Technology, Linkoping University in Sweden (2004), and a Doctorate in Physics from the Debye Institute for Nanomaterials, Utrecht University in the Netherlands (2009). During his PhD studies, he investigated the shaping of nanomaterials for applications in renewable energy, optical harvesting, biological sensors, and optical switches. Dr. Elmuez Dawi specializes in assembling nanoscale particles and modifying their optical properties, solar enhancement, and ion-beam implantation techniques. He has written and co-authored over 130 articles in highly regarded journals. Currently, Elmuez Dawi is engaged in a number of international collaborations with scientists from the Netherlands, Sweden, France, China, India, and Pakistan. He contributed to the publication of specialized books such as ion-nanoscale matter interaction, Organic radicals: formation, classification, and environmental application, Environmental sciences (Elsevier Publishing), and Microplastics Controlling Approaches: Removal Reaction Pathways, Kinetics, and Toxicity Evaluation of the Products (ACS publications). As well as this, he has contributed to international conferences in various research disciplines.
