Dr. Elmuez Dawi is an Associate Professor of Physics with a specialization in nanomaterials and nanotechnology. He holds a Master's degree in Materials Physics and Nanotechnology from Linköping Institute of Technology, Linköping University, Sweden (2004), and a PhD in Physics from the Debye Institute for Nanomaterials, Utrecht University, Netherlands (2009). During his doctoral research, Dr. Dawi focused on the design and development of nanomaterials for applications in renewable energy, optical harvesting, biological sensors, and optical switches. His expertise lies in the assembly of nanoscale particles, modification of their optical properties, solar energy enhancement, and the application of ion-beam implantation techniques. Dr. Dawi has authored and co-authored over 130 peer-reviewed articles in prestigious scientific journals. He is actively involved in international research collaborations with renowned scientists from the Netherlands, Sweden, France, China, India, and Pakistan. He has also contributed to the publication of specialized books, including Ion-Nanoscale Matter Interaction, Organic Radicals: Formation, Classification, and Environmental Applications (Elsevier Publishing), and Microplastics Controlling Approaches: Removal Reaction Pathways, Kinetics, and Toxicity Evaluation of the Products (ACS Publications). Additionally, Dr. Dawi has participated in numerous international conferences across various research disciplines.
