This course defines community and the ways for serving it. It also provides a historical overview on the development of community service, and explores the difficulties and problems that may be faced within this field. In addition to the aforementioned, this course explores the practical theories pertaining to community service, the assessment processes, and the development of programs pertaining to professional intervention, as to develop the role assumed by the service provided to the community within a society. This course provides practical and applied examples pertaining to community services.
