Ajman University Welcomed into CFA Institute University Affiliation Program

Students of BSc Finance taking steps to career success through preparation for the CFA Program.

Ajman University is welcomed into the CFA Institute University Affiliation Program. BSc Finance program has been acknowledged as incorporating at least 70 percent of the CFA Program Candidate Body of Knowledge (CBOK) and placing emphasis on the CFA Institute Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct within the program. This program position students well to obtain the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) charter, which has become the most respected and recognized investment credential in the world. Entry into the CFA Institute University Affiliation Program signals to potential students, employers, and the marketplace that Ajman University curriculum is closely tied to professional practice and is well-suited to preparing students to sit for the CFA examinations. Through participation in this program, Ajman University is eligible to receive a limited number of CFA Program Student Scholarships each year.

The BSc Finance program has a two-decade-long successful history and considered one of the prominent programs in the region. Since the launch of the BSc Finance program, it has grown and matured in its structure, spirit and context. The program develops students’ technical and critical thinking and provides them with an in-depth understanding of financial theory and the dynamics of financial markets. Real case-based exercises, experiential learning, extra-curricular activities are some of the effective teaching-learning strategies that lead to assurance of desired learning.
