CBA Faculty to Guest Edit Special Issue of Top Ranked Journal

Three CBA faculty members – Visiting Prof Charles Blankson, Prof Chris Enyinda and Associate Dean Akinola Fadahunsi have been selected to guest edit an upcoming edition of Industrial Marketing Management (IMM). The IMM [Impact factor: 4.77 and 5-Year Impact factor: 5.08] is a top-tier journal ranked Q1 by Scopus. The special issue aims to generate new insights and applications of the concepts of branding and positioning relevant to managers and scholars in industrial markets in the Middle East and Africa (MEA). It is a great opportunity for researchers in the region to publish their works in a globally respected publications outlet. According to Prof Blankson, the MEA is an increasingly important area of focus for researchers interested in the branding and positioning of firms. There is an equally notable increase in collaboration between businesses in the Middle East and Africa and the subsequent growth and expansion of those businesses as well as their partners.

The special issue seeks conceptual and empirical papers that have clear relevance to the Middle East and African marketplaces. The call for papers can be viewed on the website of the American Marketing Association at
