MOU Activation between Ajman University and Ajman Department of Economic Development

Ajman University and Ajman Department of Economic Development enjoy a strong and productive professional relationship that dates back several years. Ajman DED has collaborated in a myriad of areas with a number of units of Ajman University over the years.Today another milestone was achieved in this journey, by the activation of MOU between Ajman University and Ajman DED that highlighted the following points/proposals, along with several others:

- Participation of DED in conferences and workshops held at Ajman University College of Business Administration

- Participation of DED in joint research projects with faculty members of Ajman University, College of Business Administration, in areas of mutual interest

- Participation of the DED in the process of creating the proposed Department of Economics at the College of Business Administration

- Participation of the DED in specialized training courses in the field of economics

- Participation of Ajman University and the DED in the preparation of academic studies specialized in the field of economy and the impact of some Economic phenomena on the local economy

The MOU activation Ceremony was held at the Head Office of Ajman Department of Economic Development and was chaired by His Excellency Ali Eissa Alnuaimi, who, along with his team, very enthusiastically participated in the proceedings and shared valuable insight. The team from Ajman University was headed by Dean of College of Business Administration, Dr Martin West, who is a renowned economist. The ceremony culminated in both partners agreeing on many important matters of interest and committing to more meetings to finalize a roadmap for future that would not only be in the best interest of the two organizations but also positively contribute to the economy of UAE in general and the state of Ajman in particular.
