DBA Welcoming Orientation
We are very delighted to announce that our first cohort for DBA has started this Fall 2019-2020. Ajman University's DBA program was the first to be approved by the Ministry of Higher Education in the north region of UAE.
Our first batch DBA candidates were invited to attend a welcoming/an orientation event on the 4th of September 2019. The event started with a welcoming talk from the Dean, Dr. Martin West. The Dean’s talk expressed our commitments to provide excellent teaching and support to add incremental value to our DBA candidates’ knowledge. The talk then followed by an orientation presentation that was given by the DBA Director, Prof. Tamer Elshandidy, who gave an overview of the structure, study plan, and assessment tools of the program. After that, there was an engaging session for Q&A between candidates and faculty members who are teaching in the program (Prof. Chris Enyinda and Dr. Guangming Cao). In the end, candidates were taken on a tour to see our new DBA facilities.
It is worth mentioning that the program was sensationally successful in recruiting very high-standard candidates. The Selection Committee (Prof. Akinola Fadahunsi, Dr. Ibrahim Elsiddig, and the DBA Director) had to go through a larger number of applications above the available DBA seats to select the best candidates for the program. We are taking this opportunity to thank all applicants who applied for our DBA program this year for their trust.
