Students from the Ajman University B.S of Management Program toured the Comfort Garments factory in Jurf 2, Ajman, on 16th October 2019 to observe the garment production process. “This was a tremendous opportunity for our students to see in real life the apparel operations they have been learning about in textbooks,” notes Maher Itani, assistant professor of College of Business Administration. By interacting with professionals in the factory, our students gained a better understanding and appreciation of what it takes to produce a garment product. The garment operation breakdown was explained to students so that they know how the whole process works. That included the different part and element of garment, stitch, and machine type, and worker needed for the garment production.
