Distinguished Scholar Award for MBA Program Coordinator

Dr. Mohammed Naim Chaker, Associate Professor of Finance & MBA Program Coordinator, Ajman University College of Business Administration, attended the 15th Global Conference of the Academy for Global Business Advancement (AGBA) held at the National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA) School of Business, Bangkok, Thailand from 2 - 4 July 2018.

During the conference, Dr. Chaker was presented with the prestigious "2018 AGBA Distinguished Scholar Award” for his outstanding research and service contributions to the AGBA mission of the global dissemination of knowledge.

Apart from receiving his award, Dr Chaker was active during the conference attending Leadership, Faculty development and AACSB accreditation workshops. He also chaired two concurrent sessions and gave two well-received presentations showcasing his latest research: "The Effect of Mobile Banking Programs on Banking Productivity and Quality in the United Arab Emirates" (with Dr Mounir El Khatib of Hamdan Bin Mohammad Smart University) and "Testing the Weak Form of Efficiency of the Stock Markets in Gulf Cooperation Council Countries (GCCC)" (with Ariba Sabah, Ajman University).
