Course Description
This course focuses on the development of a business plan for a startup venture. It is practical course where students are required to identify a potential business idea, undertake a short feasibility study and then develop a comprehensive business plan to implement the business idea. The business plan includes analysis of the industry sector, market and competitors. This is followed by the development of plans for implementing the business idea. These include operational plan, marketing plan, financial plan, human resource plan, risk management plan and implementation plan. The major output of the course is a comprehensive business plan which can be used as a basis for attracting support and funding for the business idea.
