Dr. Franklin Nakpodia is a Visiting Associate Professor at Ajman University, UAE. He holds a PhD from Northumbria University and is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and the Higher Education Academy (FHEA). He graduated with a first-class degree in Accounting and has extensive experience in academia and professional practice. Dr. Nakpodia serves as an External Examiner at Coventry University and Aston University in the UK. His research interests span accounting, corporate governance, and corporate social responsibility, with a particular focus on institutional frameworks in emerging and developing economies. His work has been published in leading international journals, including The British Accounting Review, Accounting Forum, Journal of Accounting and Public Policy, Financial Accountability & Management, Business & Society, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Business Research, Annals of Operations Research, and Industrial Marketing Management. In addition to his research contributions, Dr. Nakpodia holds key editorial roles. He is an Associate Editor for Business Ethics, the Environment and Responsibility (BEER) and Corporate Governance: The International Journal of Business in Society. He also serves on the editorial board of prominent management journals, including Sustainability Accounting, Management and Policy Journal (SAMPJ).
