Three CBA students – Ms. Muna Alkilani from the Department of Marketing, Ms. Razan Albakri from the Department of Management, and an inbound exchange student, Ms. Ines Touimi – accompanied by their faculty supervisor, Dr. Katariina Juusola, participated in the inaugural regional sustainability game competition organized by Qatar University’s College of Business and Economics. Altogether, ten founding member universities of the MENA Business Schools Alliance for Sustainability (MEBAS) participated in the competition, which took place on April 21 in Doha. The simulation enhanced students’ understanding of sustainability challenges, promoting critical thinking and strategic decision-making in balancing economic goals with environmental sustainability. During the trip, the participants also had an opportunity to visit Qatar’s historical places, such as the Souq Waqif and the Sheikh Faisal Bin Qassim Al Thani Museum.
