Ajman University's College of Business Administration (CBA) hosted a networking dinner on June 22, 2024, at the picturesque beachside hotel Ajman Saray. The event welcomed MBA and DBA students, DBA alumni, and select faculty and staff, providing an excellent opportunity for networking and discovery for everyone involved.
DBA participants shared insights into the AACSB-accredited Doctor of Business Administration program, highlighting its career advancement benefits. Alumni such as Dr. Sara Galadari, Head of Section Services Development at Dubai Community Development Authority and Dr. Hashem Salem, CEO of Bin Owais Holdings, emphasized the support they received from the program's administration. "If I were to redo it, I would change nothing. I enjoyed it this much," said Dr. Galadari. "It was my best decision to earn a DBA from AU," added Dr. Salem.
“The gathering is a great opportunity for graduate students and alumni to build new connections and deepen existing ones. The graduate programs have significantly contributed to the college's academic reputation. We are thrilled to celebrate their legacy as the MBA program approaches its 20th year of existence and the DBA program its 5th,” said Prof. Akinola Fadahunsi, Dean of the College.
Prof. Tamer Elshandidy, Director of Graduate Programs, added, “We are delighted to host this gathering, which was much needed to bring our graduate students together to share their memories and experiences. The positive feedback from our DBA alumni about how significantly the program has contributed to their careers has inspired us to organize such events regularly.”
The event concluded with a dinner, allowing attendees to continue their conversations in a relaxed atmosphere. The overwhelmingly positive feedback and the keen interest expressed by MBA students in the DBA program underscored the event's success. This gathering not only showcased the excellence of Ajman University's DBA program but also reinforced the strong sense of community among AU CBA's students and alumni.
