CBA Professor is a Distinguished Speaker at COP-28

Dr Gyanendra Sisodia, Professor of Strategic Management was an invited speaker at the recently concluded COP-28 summit which brought together a global community of policy makers, academics and practitioners to address on-going environmental challenges. Responding to an invitation from the UAE Ministry of Education (MoE), Prof Gyanendra’s spoke about “Business valuation strategy for new hydroponic farm development- A proposal towards sustainable agriculture development in United Arab Emirates”. His presentation took place on December 10th 2023 at the Education Hub under Innovation@UAE Majlis. The Innovation@UAE Majlis is a series of insightful seminars organized by the Ministry of Education (Department of Science, Technology and Scientific Research). It is a communication and outreach campaign that seeks to highlight some of the noteworthy and timely research from the UAE’s licensed higher education institutes and research centers in the UAE. Prof Gyanendra is a long-term researcher on sustainability issues whose works on the subject have appeared in high-quality peer-reviewed journals such as Renewable Energy, Applied Economics, Transportation Research, Business Strategy and the Environment, Sustainable Cities and Society, Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services, etc.
