CBA hosts High School Ideas 2023 Entrepreneurship & Innovation Competition
Ajman University’s College of Business Administration proudly hosted the ‘High School Ideas 2023 Entrepreneurship & Innovation Competition Finals on March 4th, 2023. The event was organized by the Entrepreneurship Club under the leadership of CBA Lecturer Mr. Richard Denys Walter and his team. Prior to the finals, preparatory workshops on Business Plan basics were delivered to the participating teams by AU faculty members Mr. Richard Denys Walter, Dr. Rekha Pillai, Mr. Osama Abu Salah, and Ms. Hanine Bou Antoun. Student representatives from the Entrepreneurship Club acted as mentors for the participating teams. Eight teams from various parts of the UAE participated in the finals by presenting innovative business ideas to an esteemed judging panel which included CBA faculty members and Ms. Haniya Salam, an HR professional from Tanmyah LLC. Ms. Haniya expressed her delight at the quality of the ideas and presentation skills of the high school students. The first, second, and third places went to Al Resalah International School of Science, Sharjah, Al Maaref Private School, Dubai, and International Indian School, Ajman respectively. All participants, supervisors, and mentors were presented with certificates of participation.
Prizes worth AED 7000 were awarded to competition winners. The prizes were sponsored by Jomla, the online premium products store for rare and smart electronics.
