Dr Anshuman Sharma has co-edited a special issue of the SCOPUS-indexed Q1 journal, International Journal of Law and Management on the theme "Blue Whistle for Brands - Consumers' and Stakeholders' Perspectives Towards Reformation in Marketing Legal Practices" with three other professors: Dr Vikas Arya, Prof. Hiram Ting, and Dr. Vanessa G.B. Gowreesunkar.
The primary goal of this special issue was to publish some of the most relevant research papers on the legal perspectives of various opportunities and challenges faced by marketing firms, as well as to highlight the most interesting findings from these research papers in order to assist policymakers, including government and business, in understanding and acting appropriately in an ever-changing legal business environment. Five papers were ultimately selected for publication in the special issue from more than fifty submissions from around the world after at least two rounds of double-blind peer review.
Reflecting on his role as a guest editor for a scholarly journal special issue, Dr. Sharma says, "I gained a better understanding of the effort that goes into producing a high-quality academic publication. Choosing articles, reviewing submissions, and providing feedback have been challenging and rewarding. It feels great to see the finished product and know that I contributed to its creation."
