More than 30 enthusiastic students of the Finance & Accounting Club (FACT) at Ajman University demonstrated their commitment to environmental stewardship through the successful execution of "EcoWave Revive" – a beach cleanup event held in Ajman Corniche on November 23rd. This collaborative initiative with the Ajman Municipality & Planning Department and the BEEAH Group, under the supervision of Mrs. Mona Mohammed and Mr. Saleem Derbas, showcased the club's dedication to sustainability and highlighted the transformative power of collaborative efforts in driving positive change.
The participants removed a significant amount of waste, contributing substantially to the preservation of the Ajman Corniche ecosystem. Students discussed the significance of beach cleaning in their community and expressed gratitude towards the community for the opportunity given to them to help preserve the area’s natural beauty. Students saw the initiative as part of their duty to contribute to environmental health of the UAE and their commitment to help protect its marine life. Participants also voiced their active role in fostering responsible citizenship, community engagement, and civic pride.
