CBA Students Participate in Top CEO Conference and Awards Event
Students from the College of Business Administration were recently in Dubai to participate in a very prestigious event – Top CEO Conference and Awards. Conference organizers invited professionals, community leaders, promising startups and exceptional students to the two-day event which is organized annually as part of their community engagement program. The 2022 edition of the event covered several important contemporary business issues like current economic turmoil, challenges, opportunities, funding options, digital transformation and others.
Participating in this year’s event gave CBA students an opportunity to observe and learn more about real-world business issues from those charged with addressing those problems. It also gave them a chance to take part in discussions about the future of the industry, share their perspectives with industry leaders on the evolution of businesses and financial markets.
Dr Rajesh Mohnot, Head of Finance Department who led students to this conference noted that students were excited to listen and interact with top CEOs. Marketing student Jenan Mehdi said “It was an honor to be nominated by Ajman University to attend the TOP CEO 2022 Conference and Awards. This experience was very enriching and enlightening. Having the opportunity to meet and listen to the top CEO’s experiences and accomplishments were truly inspiring. All the sessions were very insightful and informative. It was interesting and eye-opening to learn about the challenges as well as the achievements of both men and women in the business world. Their advice and guidance were extremely valuable and much appreciated”. Another marketing student Safaa Laalaoui added “I was honored to be invited to this prestigious event. Thank you Ajman University and Top CEO Conference for giving me the opportunity to learn from some of the best across various industries and connect on different important topics in the business world today”. Finance student Mohamad Anas expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to join this event. “I really enjoyed the event. I benefited from attending the panel, which was hosting many amazing CEOs, and I could say that being there with such talents inspired me. I would also like to thank Dr Rajesh for his availability and proper guidance throughout the event”.
