Dr. Ibrahim Elsiddig Ahmed, Head of Accounting Department, College of Business Administration was an invited participant at the International Faculty Development Program (IFDP) which recently took place at Chandigarh University, Punjab, India from July 5th to July 10th 2021. Due to his extensive background in Accounting and Finance, Dr Ibrahim was asked to deliver a public lecture on “Essential Blockchain Skills for Accountants of the Future”. The lecture was attended by more than 200 of the Chandigarh University faculty and graduate students. Audience members appreciated the topic and the presentation. They all agreed it was valuably linked to new avenues of accounting research and more generally to the future of accounting and finance education.
