Ali Eldin Loutfi Abdalla Ibrahim, a 2nd year Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) student in the College of Business Administration (CBA) has become the first DBA student to publish his research in a peer-reviewed journal. His paper entitled “Impact of Leadership Styles on Job Performance in Healthcare Sector: A Literature Review” has been accepted for publication in “Psychology and Education”, a SCOPUS indexed journal.
Ali was motivated to write the paper in a quest to determine the best leadership styles to apply for the provision of quality service in the healthcare sector where he serves as a Human Resources Director. Ali’s published paper was adapted from an earlier paper he wrote as part of his DBA studies, specifically in DBA731 Organization Development, a class taught by Dr Maria Opulencia.
Ali was happy and excited to learn of the acceptance of his paper for publication. He expressed profound thanks to all the instructors he has encountered on his DBA journey and added “I am profoundly grateful to all of you. I joined the DBA program with basic research knowledge and here I am with your generous academic support, professionalism, and passion in teaching, publishing my first article in a Scopus Journal”.
