Towards the Future of Sustainable Mosque Architecture Forum

The College of Architecture, Art and Design, in partnership with the Society of Engineering UAE and Al Turath Al Omrani Engineering Consultants, successfully held the third Engineering Forum titled 'Towards the Future of Sustainable Mosque Architecture.' This forum addressed the techniques, challenges, and opportunities associated with sustainable mosque design, in addition to many case studies from local and international contexts.

Dr. Riad Saraiji, the dean of the college, along with the organizing team—Dr. Jihad Awad, Dr. Mohamed Arar, and Senior Lecturer Sahar Makky—received recognition for their outstanding efforts in coordinating the event. Additionally, Dr. Sahar Sulaiman was honored for his contribution as a speaker, discussing the challenges faced in sustainable mosque architecture.
