Ajman University’s first-year architecture students showcased their creativity and growth during Day 1 of the "From Point to Sustainable Pavilion" exhibition and jury. Under the guidance of Dr. Muna Salameh, and the support of Ms. Ayat, and Eng. Omar, the students displayed remarkable progress as they transitioned from conceptualizing designs based on a single point to creating fully realized Sustainable Pavilion projects.
A unique highlight of the exhibition was the students' focus on sustainable solutions, even as first-year students. Guided by Dr. Muna Salameh, they carefully selected sustainable materials for their designs, emphasizing eco-friendly approaches in their creative processes. This reflects Ajman University’s commitment to embedding sustainability principles early in architectural education.
The event was enriched by the attendance of and Arch Lana from the Emirates Green Building Council (EGBC), whose presence and evaluation added significant value to the experience. A special thanks was extended to alumna Farah, who inspired students with her insights and shared journey in the field of architecture.
Dr. Muna Salameh also acknowledged Dr. Riad Saraiji, Dean of the College of Architecture, Art, and Design, for his unwavering support and encouragement, which played a crucial role in the success of the event.
The exhibition marked a milestone for the students and highlighted Ajman University’s dedication to fostering creativity, sustainability, and excellence in architectural education.
