As part of our university's initiative to foster international collaboration, the College of Architecture, Art, and Design organized an outbound academic tour for its students to Muscat-Oman, accompanied by their supervisors Dr Sahar Kharrufa and Ms Sahar Makky. During this experience, students visited renowned academic institutions and engaged in various activities that enhanced their learning and professional growth.
The trip featured participation in numerous juries and project presentations alongside students from the host institutions, providing our students with the invaluable opportunity to exchange ideas and receive constructive feedback on their work. The students toured several iconic buildings and sites, gaining insights from real-world projects and design practices.
Beyond academic enrichment, the trip facilitated valuable networking opportunities, allowing students and staff to build professional connections with peers and faculty from other institutions. The exchange of ideas and cultural knowledge further enriched the student's educational experience, fostering a broader understanding of global architectural practices.
This trip broadened the students' architectural perspectives and reinforced our university's commitment to providing global exposure and collaborative opportunities in education.
