Architect Jamal Hamsho, Distinguished Alumnus, Shines at Dubai Design Week 2024

With immense pride, we are elated to announce that our esteemed alumni, Architect Jamal Hamsho from the College of Architecture, Art, and Design, is still practicing architecture at the prestigious firm P&T Architects, where passion and hard work are celebrated. Jamal has been selected to showcase his art furniture at the UAE Designer Exhibition 5.0 during Dubai Design Week 2024.

This exhibition celebrates emerging talent from the UAE, spotlighting over 30 visionary creatives whose designs bring emotional depth and innovation to Downtown Design. Inspired by the Brutalism school of architecture, Jamal’s work masterfully captures the raw, unrefined beauty of materials like concrete and steel—an approach that melds functionality with bold, minimalist aesthetics and reflects the creativity and dedication that our alumni contribute to the design world.
