Ajman University Students Win ASHRAE Student Debate Competition

Under the supervision of Dr. Muna Salameh, Aysha Nimra and Itemat Sauria, talented students from the Architecture Department, along with their teams, won the prestigious ASHRAE Student Debate Competition. Their performance showed outstanding skills, knowledge, and confidence.

The team represented Ajman University proudly in this competition, discussing important and sustainable topics such as:
1️⃣ Energy Efficiency vs. Occupant Well-Being: What Should Drive Sustainable Development?
2️⃣ Digital Innovation vs. Human Expertise: What Will Drive Building Decarbonization?
3️⃣ The Future of Urban Planning: Smart Cities or Green Cities?

The event, held on Thursday, November 21, 2024, at the Auditorium - Al Safa Art & Design Library in Jumeirah, gave students a chance to:
✔ Engage in discussions on industry trends.
✔ Improve their public speaking and debating skills.
✔ Gain recognition within the ASHRAE community.
