Healthy and Sustainable Built Environment Research Center Participated in Workshop ''to develop a research plan on indoor air quality and human health in the UAE''

The Healthy and Sustainable Built Environment Research Center (HSBERC) is delighted to announce its active participation in a workshop that was held in Abu Dhabi on September 27-28, 2023. The workshop aimed to develop a research plan addressing indoor air quality and its impact on human health in the United Arab Emirates.

The workshop's purpose was to identify research gaps and opportunities, focusing on two critical aspects:

1. Effects of Indoor Air Quality on Public Health in the UAE: The workshop aimed to deepen the understanding of the direct link between indoor air quality and the health of the UAE's population.

2. Interventions to Decrease Adverse Health Effects: Participants discussed effective measures to mitigate health risks associated with indoor air quality.
