Ajman University's interior design students took center stage at the recent Art Nights DIFC event, showcasing their creativity and commitment to sustainability. Under the theme of sustainability, first-year students, guided by Lecturer Hadil Al Bustami and Lecturer Nashwa Shiqwarah, collaborated with Teacher Assistants Ms. Dalal Abdullah and Ms. Suaad Shaqrah to create stunning pieces.
The project, titled "Nature as an Art Language: Artistry Through Recycling," focused on addressing environmental issues by transforming reused materials into captivating artwork. The students demonstrated their dedication to raising awareness about sustainability in a creative and impactful way.
Special recognition goes to Miss Muna Fersi for her incredible plaster sculpture made from leftover building materials, adding a unique touch to the project. The success of this initiative is also attributed to the motivation and support provided by Chancellor Karim Seghir.
Ajman University continues to foster creativity and a sense of responsibility among its students, emphasizing the importance of sustainable practices in the field of interior design.
