Selected Topics in Furniture Design
Course Description
The course aims to make students more familiar with programming and conceptual design expressed in sketches, and models, as well as with shop drawings and presentation drawings, understanding the aesthetic and functional/ ergonomic aspects of furniture as well as the technological aspects of producing furniture. This course should help students understand some sociological factors that influence the methodologies of educational investigation in interior and furniture design. This project will assess their presentation skill, imagination, and creativity.
