Sahar Najeeb Sulaiman Kharrufa

Dr. Sahar Najeeb Kharrufa earned his Ph.D. in Architecture from the University of Bath, UK, in 1985. He is an accomplished architect and dedicated researcher with extensive expertise in architectural design and urban planning. With a portfolio of over 250 successfully designed projects, he has made a significant impact on the field. Currently, Dr. Kharrufa serves as a Professor of Architecture and Coordinator of the MSc in Urban Design program in the Department of Architecture. He has a distinguished academic career, teaching a wide range of subjects, including Architectural Design, CAD, Sustainability, Urban Design, and Graduation Projects, demonstrating a commitment to innovative and interdisciplinary education. On the research front, Dr. Kharrufa has authored 34 publications, contributing valuable insights to areas such as sustainability, urban design, CAD, and green environments. His work reflects a deep intellectual curiosity and a commitment to advancing architectural knowledge and practice.
