Sahar Najeeb Sulaiman Kharrufa

Sahar Najeeb Kharrufa is a seasoned architect, accomplished academic, and dedicated researcher with extensive experience. His architectural expertise includes over 250 successfully designed projects. Currently, he serves as a distinguished Professor of Architecture and Coordinator of the MSc in Urban Design program within the Department of Architecture. In academia, Sahar has taught a wide range of subjects, including Architectural Design, CAD, Sustainability, Urban Design, and Graduation Projects, demonstrating his commitment to a multifaceted and engaging teaching approach. On the research front, Sahar has contributed significantly, having authored 34 papers to date. His research portfolio encompasses diverse topics such as sustainability, urban design, CAD, and green environments, showcasing his broad intellectual curiosity and impact in the field. Sahar earned his Ph.D. from Bath University in the UK in 1985, reflecting his dedication to continuous learning and academic excellence.
