Nashwa has a Master’s degree in Environmental Studies and Urban Design with Honors from the prestigious Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport, one of the top academic institutions in the Middle East and the only one in the region accredited by RIBA. She also holds a Bachelor's degree in Architecture with Honors from Ajman University. In the academic field, Nashwa teaches various architectural courses and Design Principles in Ajman University. Furthermore, Nashwa has practical experience as a Senior Green Building Engineer in Dubai Municipality, where she developed a comprehensive understanding of the Green Building Regulations and Specifications used nationally and internationally. She also contributed to issuing the first Green Building Rating System in Dubai (Al Saafat).
