Nashwa Shiqwarah holds a Master's degree in Environmental Studies and Urban Design with Honors from the esteemed Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport, one of the leading academic institutions in the Middle East and the only one in the region accredited by RIBA. She also earned a Bachelor's degree in Architecture with Honors from Ajman University. In her academic career, Nashwa teaches a range of architectural courses and Design Principles at Ajman University. In addition to her academic contributions, Nashwa has practical experience as a Senior Green Building Engineer at Dubai Municipality. There, she developed expertise in Green Building Regulations and Specifications used both nationally and internationally. She also played a key role in the development of Dubai's first Green Building Rating System, Al Saafat.
