Dr. Zaghloul is an assistant professor in the Department of Architecture at Ajman University since August 2023. He was a postdoctoral researcher at the Chair of Digital Architectonics at ETH Zurich and was awarded his Doctor of Science from ETH Zurich in April 2017. He is interested in developing machine-learning-based tools that start from abstract features of any model and proceed to indexing, synthesizing designs, and developing probabilistic-based emulators of building performances in order to create intuitive and fast design performance. He holds a Master's degree in Architecture and worked as a teaching assistant in the Department of Architecture at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Alexandria University, from 2003 to 2017, and as a lecturer from 2017 to 2019. He is a co-founder of Encode Studio for Architecture Design in Egypt since June 2011.
