Dr. Al Matrooshi has served as Secretary-General of the Executive Board since 2004, and has led the development strategy of the government's work system and has designed public policies.
He holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration from Abu Dhabi University, and has a career full of achievements. He has extensive experience in government management, policy making, and government strategic planning and development.
Dr. Al Matrooshi oversaw the establishment of several government agencies and institutions as well as a number of government projects and initiatives, including the establishment of Ajman Excellence Program in 2008 and the inception of Ajman Center for Statistics and Competitiveness. He also launched various initiatives and voluntary teams.
Aside from leading an exceptional team that worked on the formulation of Ajman Vision 2021, through which he was able to reflect the honorable positive image of the Emirate, Dr. Al Matrooshi was appointed Director General of Ajman Administrative Census Project in 2017. He also led the development program of the government service delivery system in Ajman in 2019.
Dr. Al Matrooshi is keen to develop business systems that support the efforts of government agencies in achieving their goals in accordance with the highest standards of quality and excellence. He is the author of numerous publications and research papers in the field of public policy.
He participated in the jury of several government excellence award at the federal, local and international levels. He is also member of the Board of Directors of the Federal Authority for Competitiveness and Statistics.
