As expert in Economics, H.E Abdulla Humaid Almazrouei has a wealth of distinguished experience in government affairs and management that are valuable for his role. He is also Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Thamer Funds for educational support and solidarity.
Prior to this, he was a member of the Incentive State Award Board of Trustees and the National Election Committee. His strong leadership characteristics qualified him to be appointed as a member of the Federal Pensions Authority and Vice-Chairman of Etisalat Board of Directors.
Moreover, H.E. has participated as a keynote speaker in different local and international conferences and seminars. He also held various governmental positions, including that of Minister of Justice from 1983 to 1989, Advisor to the Court of H.H. Ruler of Ajman from 1980 to 1983, Minister of Labor and Social Affairs from 1977 to 1979, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from 1974 to 1977, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Transportation from 1972 to 1974, and Director of the Office of Development from 1969 to 1972.
H.E Abdulla Humaid Almazrouei holds a Bachelor degree in Economics from the University of Bagdad in Iraq.
