Undergraduate Admission Process

Follow these steps:

Prepare and upload clear scans of the following required documents:

Official secondary school certificate/transcripts certified by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the UAE.
Equivalency Certificate from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the UAE for foreign high school certificates and high school certificates issued by schools outside the UAE.
A valid passport copy with a valid residence permit.
A valid UAE national ID copy.
A valid certificate of good conduct issued by the official authorities.
Status of UAE National Service or exemption of the Military National Service (for UAE male applicants).

A recent colored photograph (size 3×4 cm).

For Kuwaiti Students: A no-objection (NOC) letter from the Consulate General of the State of Kuwait - Cultural Office in the UAE, specifying the program the student is permitted to enroll in at Ajman University.

For International Students: Official secondary school certificate/transcripts certified by the authorized educational authority in the country of origin, the country’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the UAE Embassy.
English Proficiency Requirements:

For all programs taught in English: A minimum score of 80% in Grade 12 English subject, or its equivalent (5.0 IELTS Academic, or a TOEFL (ITP) score of 500, IBT 61)
For Doctor of Medicine: A score of 6.0 IELTS Academic, a TOEFL (ITP) score of 550, IBT 79, or its equivalent.
For Bachelor of Dental Surgery: A score of 5.0 IELTS Academic, or a TOEFL (ITP) score of 500, IBT 61, or its equivalent.

College of Medicine, and College of Dentistry: A minimum score of 90% in Math and two Science subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology).
Bachelor of Pharmacy: A minimum score of 80% in Math and two Science subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology).
College of Engineering, and Bachelor of Architectural Engineering: A minimum score of 80% in Math and Physics, and a minimum score of 80% in Biology or Chemistry.
Information Technology, Bachelor of Science in Artificial Intelligence, and Data Analytics programs: A minimum score of 75% in Math.
Information Systems programs: A minimum score of 70% in Math.
Bachelor of Law: A minimum score of 70% in Math.

The application and admission fees are non-refundable and are not part of the tuition fees.

Other requirements may apply based on an applicant's specific school system. The Unit of Student Recruitment and Admissions reserves the right to request any supporting documents.
Applicants must pass the personal interview set by the college for the Doctor of Medicine, Bachelor of Dental Surgery, and Pharmacy programs.
Applicants must pass the admission tests set by the colleges (if required).
Applicants who do not meet the minimum grade requirements in specific subjects must complete a remedial course in the respective subject(s) (N/A to Medicine Program)
Unattested copies will be accepted to start the application process. However, applicants will be required to provide attested original documents before enrolling at AU.
Applicants who have applied for the equivalency certificate from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the UAE but have not completed the equivalency process by the time of registration will be allowed to register, provided they submit a conditional admission letter from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the UAE.
The decision to admit an applicant is made on a competitive basis, considering the number of available seats as determined by the individual college and the applicant’s final CGPA.

Make plans to attend the orientation and the convocation ceremony on campus one week before the start of classes.
3. After Arrival (for international students)

Submit all original attested documents and certificates, if you have been asked to do that.
