The Office of Medical Services (OMS), in alignment with Sustainable Development Goal 3 (SDG 3) on health and well-being, celebrated World AIDS Day on 27 November 2024 in collaboration with EHS with two (02) awareness sessions tailored for university students, Male and Female students. This initiative highlighted the importance of prevention, education, and empowerment in combating HIV/AIDS, a critical global health challenge.

Empowering university students with knowledge and resources is essential in reducing the impact of HIV/AIDS. The OMS emphasized the role of comprehensive education, promotion of safe practices, and the creation of supportive environments. By equipping students with accurate information and fostering open dialogue, universities can enable young adults to make informed decisions that safeguard their health.
