The Office of Student Housing, in collaboration with Damas Medical Center Sharjah, successfully hosted a debating session on two significant topics: normal and abnormal menstrual cycles, and the causes of sensitive area pigmentation along with potential solutions. Participants learned about the typical length and phases of a healthy menstrual cycle, as well as common abnormalities. The session also addressed the causes of pigmentation in sensitive areas, such as hormonal changes and friction, and provided practical solutions like skincare routines and the use of gentle exfoliants. The interactive environment encouraged attendees to share personal experiences and ask questions, enriching the discussion. |
Overall, the event received very positive feedback, providing valuable insights into menstrual health and skin sensitivity, and leaving participants with practical knowledge and resources. The session aligned with UN SDGs, particularly Good Health and Well-Being (SDG 3) and Gender Equality (SDG 5).
