The Office of Student Housing, in collaboration with the College of Architecture, Art, and Design, hosted a Sustainable Interior Design workshop led by Mrs. Dina Ibrahim, focusing on aligning with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for Sustainable Cities and Communities.

The workshop aimed to educate students on sustainable room design practices, including maximizing natural light, reducing waste, and utilizing eco-friendly or upcycled materials, all of which are essential in addressing climate change.

Participants exchanged ideas on creating safe, resilient, and sustainable personal spaces, fostering environmental sustainability, and enhancing the well-being of urban communities while considering the impacts of climate change.
