New Students Orientation

The Student Success Center (SSC) hosted its New Student Orientation on January 12, 2023. The event aimed to introduce new students to the resources and support services provided by the center. Prof. Nadir Kheir, the center's manager, led the discussion and outlined the available resources. Dr. Akram Ashames, the Assistant Vice-Chancellor of Academic Affairs, also attended and emphasized the importance of seeking help and using the provided resources.

During the orientation, the center's mission to provide guidance and assistance to students was emphasized. The focus was on fostering academic success and equipping students with the necessary tools and strategies.

Three peer tutors, Maryam AbdelHamid, Hana AbdelHamid, and Laith Badwan, shared their experiences and growth since joining the Student Success Center. They highlighted the impact the center had on their academic development and how they were able to support other students.
