Exploring Information Literacy: Visit to the Sharjah International Book Fair

The Office of Students Housing at the Deanship of Student Services, organized a visit for female residents to the International Book Fair at the Expo Center in Sharjah.

This event was a key initiative aimed at engaging residents with the cultural and literary hub of the region. The Sharjah International Book Fair serves as  the gateway to audiences who have a profound appreciation for the written word.

During the visit, students  toured the pavilions of the exhibition and received briefing on the latest publications offered by publishing houses. Special attention was given to  high-tech devices and applications designed to assist book lovers worldwide. Students had the opportunity to enjoy  both the traditional reading materials and devices  on display.
