In my name and on behalf of my colleagues who are members of the faculty, I welcome you to the Master's program in Private Law at Ajman University's College of Law.
The Department of Private Law is a cornerstone of the College's graduate studies, aiming to fulfill the College's vision and mission in line with the university's new strategy while upholding its distinguished reputation among national and regional universities. The program is taught by a select group of private law professors specializing in civil law, commercial law, civil procedures, and private international law. They teach with competence and excellence in various programs offered by the department, whether at the undergraduate or postgraduate level.
All faculty members strive to empower students with comprehensive legal knowledge, establishing a scientific legal methodology that combines theoretical and practical aspects to achieve a balance between academic requirements and the practical needs of the job market. This equips graduates with exceptional skills that enable them to easily excel in their professional lives after graduation.

The College of Law at Ajman University was established to be a cornerstone of legal education at both the local and regional levels, playing a significant role among the higher education institutions in the United Arab Emirates in preparing a generation of legal professionals capable of making a positive impact.
In the course of the ongoing development of the academic programs offered by the College of Law, the Master's program in Private Law was initially introduced in 2008, ultimately receiving final accreditation in May 2016. Recently, the program's accreditation was renewed in December 2021.
The college aims to provide an appropriate academic environment to foster creativity in various legal disciplines. This is achieved through the adoption of distinguished academic programs designed to produce qualified individuals trained in legal and Sharia practices, with an understanding of the latest developments in legal sciences. The college also focuses on teaching students how to acquire knowledge, learn independently, and make use of modern technologies, all while aligning its programs with Ajman University's three-fold mission: educational, informational, and investment-oriented.
In both cases, applicants must achieve a minimum score of 950 in the English language test (EmSAT) or its equivalent in another recognized standardized test (TOEFL ITP 450 or IELTS 4.5).If the required EMST scores are not met, The student will be conditionally admitted and allowed to enroll in only 6 credit hours. The student must achieve the required EMST scores by the end of their first enrolled semester.
